A couple of days ago, KTR stated that there is no need for AP people to protest in Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana over the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu. "It is a matter of AP politics, settle it in AP, don't come to Hyderabad and pose a threat to law and order here".
In response, Telangana Congress chief Revanth Reddy said "How can KTR ask people not to protest CBN's arrest in Telangana? He is a national level leader and his arrest will be protested in many parts. What right does KTR have? Then why did Telangana people protest separate state agitation in the USA?".
This statement from Revanth has now destroyed the prospects of Telangana Congress as his statement in support to Chandrababu have backfired big time.
"As for the protest of Telangana people in other parts of India and in USA, it was for a separate state movement. It was a public agitation. Now, with CBN's case, it is the scenario of a politician getting arrested in a scam case. There is no relation between these two aspects" a netizen replied to Revanth.
Revanth has missed very basic logics with his argument in support of Chandrababu Naidu and he is having to face the heat for the same now. He has destroyed the image of Congress as well, by aligning the party's interests with CBN's arrest, which is an unrelated topic to Telangana Congress.
