Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi was in Saroornagar today to attend a mass youth rally. This is her first political rally in Telangana, and people in large numbers gathered at the event. She addressed the public gathering and announced an "unemployment declaration" at the meeting.
She began her speech by addressing the people here in Telugu and saying "Jai Bolo Telangana".
Speaking at the gathering, she said, "As many as eight thousand farmers committed suicide, and not a single university was established in Telangana. No allowance is given to the unemployed. Everyone is burdened with debt in Telangana."
She said people call her another Indira and asked the public to dissolve their government if her declaration is not met.

Pension of Rs. 25,000 per month to the family of Telangana martyrs
Allowance of Rs. 4,000 per month for each unemployed person.
Filling of 2 lakh jobs in the first year of coming to power.
75 percent of jobs are for local people in the companies that have received subsidies from the government.
Unemployed youth will get Rs. 10 lakh as a loan with interest.
"Sonia Gandhi did not give Telangana for the sake of power but to fulfil people’s aspirations. It has been nine years since Sonia Gandhi gave Telangana but the demand of the people of Telangana has not been fulfilled till today. KCR considers Telangana his ‘Jagir’," said Ms. Gandhi, asking people to think twice before they cast their vote.
