Meanwhile, we hear that JD(S) may lose on a few seats this year.
According to JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy, fund crunch may cause his party to lose up to 25 Assembly seats where it had a possibility of winning. “My inability to provide financial support for a number of my candidates has hurt me. I had hoped to have some financial support from the public, but I have somewhat suffered for it. I neglected to provide financial support to candidates in a number of races where there were electable candidates, such as in Chikkaballapura and Doddaballapura,” said Kumaraswamy.
