Matta Dayanand, a former follower of Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, made sensational revelations about Ponguleti. He claimed that although Ponguleti had before challenged Telangana state Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, he is now terrified. Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy considered joining the BJP at first, but decided against it after realising that the party would not even win 10 seats in Khammam, according to Dayanand, who recently wore the Congress scarf. He claimed to be a long-time devotee of Ponguleti, but he withdrew because he did not appreciate what he said.
According to him, joining the BJP would have prevented him from winning. Following his suspension from BRS, Ponguleti Srinivas' decision-making process has become an intriguing one to watch.
Which party he will join is still unknown. He was rumoured to join the BJP at first, and then the Congress later. There have also been rumours that a new party may be founded alongside some other leaders during this void. Ponguleti's decision in this matter is taking longer than expected, and as a result, state politics are talking about how long-time supporters of Ponguleti are progressively drifting away from him.
