Sharad Pawar on KCR's BRS. The entry of KCR's BRS in Maharashtra is making life jittery for all the political parties in the state. Within four months of its entry into Maharastra, many Maharashtra politicians started joining the party. Recently Telangana CM KCR also inaugurated the party office at Nagpur with much fanfare. More than three lakhs became members of the BRS and this is giving sleepless nights to all the parties.
Telangana CM KCR promised the Telangana model to Maharashtra. KCR also made clear that he would open party offices in Mumbai, Pune, and Aurangabad. In the midst of all this, Sharad Pawar, NCP patriarch speaking to scribes reacted to KCR's dreams and his party BRS foray in the state.
He said KCR's BRS is the B-Team of BJP. He said KCR is only touring the northern region of Maharashtra and seems to have targeted Congress and NCP. BJP however reacting to KCR's BRS said that BRS will not have any impact on the BJP-Shivsena alliance. KCR's rally in the Nanded district also drew massive crowds. Many workers from Nanded joined the BRS party.
KCR during his speech promised better facilities to farmers and also tap water supply to every household if voted to power.
