BRS seems to be losing momentum in Adilabad

While the news of the Congress party gaining momentum in Telangana is doing the rounds, the BRS party got a big shock from the joint Adilabad district. The chief leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samiti Party from Adilabad, who was at the forefront during the Telangana movement, is upset about the lack of recognition after the formation of the state. The BRS party's former joint Adilabad district president, K. Srihari Rao, is all set to join the Congress party.

It seems certain that he will resign from the ruling party. It is reported that Srihari Rao has decided to join the Congress on the 17th of this month. To this extent, Srihari Rao met his followers at his residence in Nirmal District Centre on Monday. Srihari Rao's followers feel that minister Indrakaran Reddy has done serious injustice to them, who fought desperately for the state in Nirmal district.

On this occasion, the activists expressed their grief that no matter how much service they have given to the BRS, justice is not being done to them. Activists are of the opinion that if they join Sonia Gandhi's party, the party that gave Telangana, they can pay their debt to Sonia Gandhi.

Srihari Rao's recent meeting with the party workers on Monday after two months is creating a stir in the ruling party. Political analysts believe that Nirmal's strong hold in the constituency will be a loss for the ruling party if he leaves. On the other hand, Srihari Rao worked in the Congress party for a long time as the president of the joint Adilabad District Youth Congress and as the former floor leader of ZP. He then left the Congress due to differences with Minister Indrakaran Reddy.
