KCR at NIMS new block, KTR flays opposition. The ruling BRS party is celebrating the Telangana decade celebrations and the state government is not only highlighting its achievements during its ten-year rule in Telangana but has also started announcing new schemes. In the meantime, Telangana CM KCR encouraged the state health department for striving for excellency highlighting how medical and health sector has been prioritized in his regime.
He pointed out that budget allocations which were Rs.2100 crore in 2014, were increased to Rs.12365 crore in 2023-24. He then inaugurated the Dashabdi block at the prestigious NIMS Hospital, Hyderabad. Laying the foundation for the Dashabdi block, KCR said there will be 2000 beds in the block.
He also launched KCR nutritional kits across the state and ensured their distribution. He added Nutritional Kit distribution program objective was to ensure the health of pregnant women and the healthy growth of the babies in the mother’s womb. He highlighted how the number of beds in the government hospitals was increased from 17,000 to 50,000 beds in the State. He also stated that the oxygen production plants with a combined capacity of 550 tons were set up
In the meantime, KTR, son of KCR took potshots at the opposition parties by highlighting how people were scared to go to the government hospitals and how KCR's policies changed their perception. Even Harish Rao attacked the opposition for their partition politics.
