KCR says Dharani prevented many murders. Of late Telangana CM KCR is taking revolutionary steps. He abolished the VRA system and ensured that all the VRA staff will get jobs in other government departments. Many hailed his decision and in the meantime, speaking to scribes, he said while he was touring Maharashtra, many came to him and requested him to abolish the similar system Talathi in the state.
KCR speaking to scribes shared that the Dharani portal prevented many murders. He added “If there is no Dharani portal, several murders might have taken place. With the introduction of the portal, no one can change the ownership of the land, except the farmer himself. Thus, all the villages in the State are peaceful now, even as the land costs have shot up,”
Taking a dig at the opponents of the Dharani portal, he said “There may be one or two problems and they can be resolved by giving a representation to higher officials. But, some wicked forces are trying to show these minor issues as a major problem,” Highlighting the importance of the Dharani portal, KCR said" Dharani portal was beneficial to farmers in three ways - the land records are safe, Rythu Bandhu and paddy procurement amounts are directly credited into farmers’ accounts and the farmers are not going to private moneylenders anymore. "
