KCR's daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha has been on the Enforcement Directorate's radar for a long time now with her alleged involvement in the Delhi Liquor Scam case.
Kavitha was already investigated multiple times by the ED officials in Delhi. There was a point when there were multiple media reports that Kavitha could even be arrested by the ED officials. But that wasn't to be and BRS thought the storm had passed.
But cut to now, things have relapsed now and the ED has called Kavitha for investigation again. She was ordered to appear in front of the ED tomorrow, 15 September.
The fact that this new order from ED comes just months before the Telangana elections adds to the intensity surrounding the same. Kavitha has already claimed that this is a targeted attack from BJP and she will not budge to the same.
Meanwhile, there are already news reports coming in from Delhi that ED could be arresting Kavitha in this case very soon. This has left the BRS troops in a dilemma over the whole scenario of Kavitha's involvement in the Liquor scam.
