Elon Musk can be rated as not just a tech billionaire but also a maverick man these days with his words and actions. His takeover of Twitter has been controversial right from the beginning, and some of his actions have earned a lot of negative reactions.
Now San Francisco authorities are investigating a possible building code violation where wardrobes and beds were reportedly added to create living spaces in the Twitter office. It is also being said that this includes Musk’s own private space.
This reminds everyone of the hardcore conditions that Elon Musk seems to be pushing for his employees which may include work and then sleep at the office and again get back to work. Musk has already reacted to it and defended his move. But the US authorities are not convinced enough and some action is expected soon if violations are confirmed by them.
Biden Brings Home Detained Baseball Star
This is definitely a significant moment for the US President Joe Biden, who has been facing a lot of public pressure to bring the arrested US Baseball star Brittney Griner home.
Griner was taken into custody at a Moscow airport in February over drug charges when a few vape cartridges containing some cannabis oil were reportedly found in her luggage. This was just a few days before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The sportswoman pleaded guilty and apologized saying it was an honest mistake. The Russians were looking for a prisoner swap for Viktor Bout, who was a notorious arms dealer serving a 25-year sentence in a US prison.
There were a lot of backroom negotiations between America and Russia which particularly grew more tense as the West imposed sanctions on Russia over the Ukraine war. But finally, the swap happened and her fans are super happy in the US.
