The South Indian film fraternity and political circles have come together to support Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan as he recuperates from a medical procedure. According to an official update from his Political Secretary, P. Hariprasad, the actor-politician underwent surgery on Saturday evening to address health concerns that had persisted over the last few months.
As news of his stable condition broke, several of the biggest names in Indian cinema took to social media to send their heartfelt wishes.
Mega Family and Industry Peers Send Love
The "Mega" family was among the first to offer strength and solidarity. Ram Charan shared an emotional note for his uncle, stating, "Wishing Hon'ble Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh, @PawanKalyan Garu, a smooth and speedy recovery. Looking forward to seeing you back in action, stronger than ever."

A Smooth Procedure: Health Updates
Pawan Kalyan’s nephew, Sai Dharam Tej, provided a reassuring update, confirming that the "surgery went very well" and urging his "Chinna Mama" to prioritize his "precious health" before returning to the service of the people.
Earlier, legendary actor Chiranjeevi provided a comprehensive health update to calm concerned fans. He confirmed that his brother is currently safe, stable, and recovering as expected.
"Kalyan Babu has successfully undergone a medical procedure... As per the doctors, it may take about a week for him to return to his normal routine. There is no cause for concern," Chiranjeevi noted.
The Road to Recovery
While the medical team has indicated that a full recovery might be a gradual process, they are optimistic about his timeline. Pawan Kalyan has been advised to take a mandatory 10-day rest, after which he is expected to resume his official responsibilities as the Deputy Chief Minister.
