Telangana State IT Minister KT Rama Rao congratulated the Congress party for its victory in Karnataka. He thanked the people of Karnataka for rejecting BJP's divisive and disgusting politics. Through a tweet, KTR commented that the movie 'Kerala Story' did not affect the Karnataka elections, similarly, the state’s assembly elections and the results will not affect Telangana.
He expressed hope that after the formation of the Congress government in Karnataka, the cities of Hyderabad and Bengaluru will face healthy competition in attracting investments and developing infrastructure.
“Just the way Kerala Story failed to amuse the people of Karnataka, similarly Karnataka election results will have NO bearing on Telangana. Thanks to the people of Karnataka for rejecting ugly & divisive politics. Let Hyderabad and Bengaluru compete healthily for investments & creating infrastructure for the greater good of India. My best wishes to the new Congress Govt in Karnataka. (sic),” he tweeted.
