Probable CM skips Delhi due to 'stomach infection'

Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar has been favored by many to lead the State as Chief Minister. Recently, he told the media that he had assured Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi that he will ensure a win in Karnataka. He literally broke down owing to extreme delight after the Congress party secured a thumping majority.

On Monday, however, DK didn't go to Delhi to meet the High Command. The Delhi visit was needed to tell everyone that he was in a race for CMship.

When asked why he skipped the visit, DK said that it was due to a stomach infection. He further said that all MLAs are the party's, not his. "I don't have any MLAs. I've left the decision to the party high command," DK said.

Siddaramaiah is most probably going to become the CM.
