Telangana youngster drives Rahul Gandhi in the US. It is known that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is visiting the USA and addressing the Indian community at various places. Apart from it, he is also interacting with Indians and delighting them to the core. In the midst of all this Telangana youngster Sreedhar Puppalli, hailing from Palamuru, Mahabubnagar district had the honor of driving Rahul Gandhi through the lanes of Washington DC.
Sreedhar Puppalli, an IT professional drove Rahul Gandhi around Washington DC, showing him the city and also explaining the features in his Tesla-Y car on June 1. Rahul Gandhi's tour was coordinated by Madhu Yashki Goud, former MP, and Indian Overseas Congress.
Sreedhar Puppalli, sharing his experience said "I was thrilled when I was invited to drive Rahul Gandhi in my Tesla-Y car. During the drive Rahul Gandhi was keen to know the functionality of the car, about various models Tesla has introduced; and also tried using various options in the car like setting the navigation, music, etc."
He is also in awe of Rahul Gandhi's knowledge. He said "Rahul Gandhi was also eager to know the pricing of various Tesla models, and how and within how much time of owning these expensive machines will they turn viable over combustible fuel alternatives. The most striking aspect of Rahul Gandhi was his deep understanding of various international and national topics and clarity in thought. The Congress leader's sense of humor made this 15 mins drive so lively that I would remember this evening for many years to come,"
Rahul Gandhi also delighted Sreedhar Puppalli by inviting him for dinner and then spending quality time with his family members. The Sreedhar Puppali couple and their children were invited by the Indian Overseas Congress to a dinner hosted in honor of Rahul Gandhi at Capitol Hill.
