A government job aspirant from Warangal was found dead in a girls' hostel in Hyderabad's Ashok Nagar on October 14. Marri Pravalika is her name. After her suicide came to light, two theories came about.
Theory 1: Some student organizations and government job aspirant groups claimed that she died by suicide because she was distressed about the delays in the conduct of Group-I and Group-II exams by the Telangana Public Service Commission.
Theory 2: As per the Chikkadpally police, Pravalika killed herself because she was ditched by her boyfriend, Shivaram. After this theory gained traction, KTR himself claimed that she had not even applied for Group exams. The failed love affair theory has since been rejected by the girl's parents.
As per Advocate Katkuri, there is no truth in the claim that Pravalika never applied for Group exams. The lawyer today put out screenshots related to documents of Pravalika's exam applications/admit cards. "The police have tried to misguide the public by saying that Pravalika had a love affair with a boy named Shivaram, who got engaged to another girl. They have also tampered with her WhatsApp chats and suicide note to support their theory. But this is a blatant lie," wrote the advocate on Twitter.
